概要/Outline	社会心理学IIIおよびIVは、集団間心理学から中心的なテーマを選び、最新の理論的発展を追う。特に、ステレオタイプや偏見、自己カテゴリー化と社会的アイデンティティ、カテゴリー化操作を用いる教育的実践などのトピックを含む。授業形態はセミナーで、英文論文講読と討論である。 Social Psychology II and IV will deal with intergroup psychology, discussing the latest research in this area. Topics to be covered will include stereotypes and prejudice, self-categorization, social identity, intergroup contact and conflict, and acculturation. Discussions will be conducted in both English and Japanese.
到達目標/Objectives	集団間プロセスを理解し、それが民族間葛藤や人種差別にどのように働き、またそれを軽減するためにどのような心理的対応ができるのかを理解することが到達目標である。 Students will learn about intergroup processes and relations. IV will deal with intergroup contact and conflict, and the means by which such conflict can be moderated.
授業の内容/Contents	１）～１５）回 各週には、本演習に関係する履修者の関心のあるトピックを自由に選び、発表・討議する。 Weeks 1 through 15 Students will choose and present recent articles dealing with the topic, and discussions will be conducted.
