| 概要/Outline
|
本演習は、院生が研究を行うために必要な倫理基準、コンプライアンスの重要性など、心理学の研究者として必要な倫理観を培うことが一つの目的であります。もう一つは、国際的な研究活動を支援する目的で、海外学会誌への論文投稿のプロセスをサポートすることが目的です。和文と英文の論文構成やスタイルの違い、APA執筆規程、インパクトファクターや投稿先の選択、編集者とのやりとりなどを取り上げます。積極的に名大で行った研究を海外に発信できる院生の養成を目指しています。上記の２目的をもって、国際水準の倫理基準に沿った、国際的な競争力を備えた研究者としての資質向上が本科目の狙いであります。
| This seminar will cover the process from ethical consideration in planning and executing research, through preparation of the research manuscript for submission to a major English language journal. We will take a close look at ethical standards which researchers in the discipline of psychology must observe. Students will also be introduced to APA style manuscript preparation, the selection of the journal, impact factors, predatory journals, writing a cover letter, the review process, and responding to reviewers' comments.

海外誌に投稿するための基本的な知識とスキルの修得を目指します。英語による論文投稿を恐れずに、海外誌に投稿するための論文作成、投稿先の選定、投稿手続、レフリーとのやり取りなどについて、履修生の中にいる経験者の話を交えて、履修生は英文論文投稿に必要な自信とチャレンジ精神を獲得できることが到達目標です。この科目を履修することによって国際的発信能力を持つ研究者を目指す。
| Participants will become familiarized with the submission and review process of journal publication, and learn the APA style of academic writing. The ultimate objective of this course is to have students become globally competitive researchers in the area of psychology.

出席と参加 50％（プレゼン、議論、社会人はウェブ受講可）課題 50％ | （英文における投稿論文の概要） 成績評価の基準は100点満点で60点以上を合格とする。 Attendance and Participation 50％(presentations, discussion, working students can attend via internet) Assignments 50％ (extended abstract as demonstration of ability t write an English manuscript) The passing score is more than 60% out of 100%.
