概要/Outline	人間形成をめぐる哲学的・思想的諸課題についての関心を高め，文献の精読およびそれに基づく議論を通して高度な専門的知識を習得することを目的とする。 この授業では，教育の行為や活動の基本原理を読み解きながら，教育という事象をよりよく説明し理解するための理念，歴史，思想に迫り，私たちの人間形成をめぐる今日的課題や問題について専門的に探究する。おもには教育の哲学，思想，理論に関する基礎的・発展的なテクストと向き合い，人間形成のあり方をみずから問いなおしていくための材料や道具立てを提供する。教育実践のなかで当たり前なこととして見過ごされ，見落とされてしまう教育の事象にも光を照らしてみたい。 本年度は，とりわけアラスデア・マッキンタイア，スタンリー・カヴェル，アルフォンソ・リンギスの共同体をめぐる思想を取り扱い，人間形成における共同体の意味について再考していく予定である。 The main purpose of this course is to cultivate students’ inquiring mind about the foundations of human development through examining classical and contemporary works of philosophy of education. Dealing with the philosophy, history, and thought of human development, this course introduces the basic principles of pedagogy and throws new light on the educational phenomena which have been overlooked in educational theories and practices. It helps students acquire knowledge of key concepts of philosophy and deepen understanding of education through philosophizing about education. In this seminar, we will rethink the meaning of the community for human-becoming through the examination of philosophical works of Alasdair MacIntyre, Stanrey Cavell, and Alphonso Lingis.
到達目標/Objectives	この授業では、次のことを目標とする。 1．教育哲学・教育思想史における専門的な文献を収集したり、批判的に考察したりすることができる。 2．みずからの研究分野や内容にとどまることなく，積極的に議論に参加することによって，教育哲学・教育思想についての豊かな視点を身につけることができる。 The goals of this course are to - obtain basic knowledge and concept in the philosophy, thought, and history of education, - be able to discuss the various problems of human development, as well as to understand concepts and theories of the philosophy of education.

成績評価方法/Evaluation	（評価の方法） 1．発表資料の作成および授業内での報告（40％） 2．議論への参加状況（30％） 3．最終レポート（30％） （評価の基準） 総点60点以上を合格とする。 Grading will be decided based on the following: - Presentation (30%) - Participation and attitude in class discussion (30%) - Final paper (40%)
履修条件/Conditions	履修条件は要さない。本授業の内容と関連した，より発展的かつ専門的な内容を取り扱う科目として，「人間形成学研究Ⅱ」（前期火曜5限）を開講している。 教育についての思考を広げ，深めるために，哲学や思想から手がかりを見つけてみたいと思います。哲学や思想を参照しながら，現代の人間形成の諸課題について知的に吟味してみましょう。
